I have a JD755 with a JD70 front end loader. I bought it used and have no manual for the front end loader. I was wondering how hard it is to take the front end loader off. I have started to take the front end loader off several times, but coundn't figure out how to keep the arms off the ground. And if they were suppose to go to the ground, how to get them back up. If someone could help me out with instructions, and how hard or easy it is to do, I would sure appreciate it. Thanks in advance for any help.

Drop the bucket to the ground and apply a little pressure to lift some weight off of the front wheels. Then, release the latches (one on each side) by lifting up slightly and then pulling out to the stop. Now, with the latches disengaged, "raise" the bucket: this will raise the arms up out of the holders. If you are having trouble with this, I would just check to make sure that the integral loader stand is in place. This stand is a tubular bracket that is connected to the arms immediately below the front of the tractor. When raising the arms, this lowers to the ground to prop it up. I don't think it is optional, but I suppose someone could have taken it off for some reason. Once the arms are raised sufficiently, back the tractor up about 8-10 inches so that you can get to the hose couplings. Turn the engine off and release the pressure in each of the hoses by moving the control lever through all 4 positions several times. You will have to repeat this when you go to couple the hoses back on - sometimes the pressure is enough to prevent engagement of the couplings. Good luck ....

I have a JD755 the loader comes off in way under 5 min's. It is the easiest attachment to remove and to install. I lower the bucket until the front wheels are off the ground. Push in on the black knobs on both sides of the loader which is done sitting in the seat.and then pull them back towards you which should disengage toward the front of the tractor.Then I lower the front of the tractor and I believe raising the bucket lowers the self supportingstand. when the arms that connect right in front of your feet raise where the front wheels will pass below them i quit operating the loader. turn off the tractor and move the loader valve in all directions to releave the pressure. and hop off of the tractor for the first time and disconnect the four quick disconnect lines by simply pushing in on the outer collar. and you are finished. if you are still having problems and I should be able to copy the manual and fax or mail you a copy. Once you do it once or twice it is a cynch. Remember when trying to reconnect drive the tractor slowly into the loader all the way. turn off the tractor. operate the valve in all directions (or the pressure will not let you connect the hoses). connect the hoses. crank the tractor and lower the connecting arms till they fit into the cradle and it lifts thefront tires, then move the rods on both sides back to the locked position and you are done. let me knowif you have any questions.
